South West Foundation

Community Researcher training is offered by South West Foundation, an independent charitable organisation. The Foundation focuses on supporting small community and resident led organisations throughout the South West region.

The Foundation has so far trained over 150 individuals in communities to design research projects, gather and analyse data from their communities, and finally to present that data to people with influence who can work with the researchers to bring about the change that communities want.

After piloting the highly successful course for three years in communities across the region,The Foundation is now offering agencies the opportunity to purchase either the full training package, or a range of associated shorter courses. We are also developing an advanced two day course for both staff and community members.
